I’ve always been a mutlidisciplinary creature, working in both the arts and sciences. I love the metaphors that science provides for the arts, and beyond that, I feel strongly that the power of scientific thinking should not be reserved for only a select few after decades of schooling. I hope to live in a world in which concepts like echolocation, supersymmetry, or adaptive immunity can be used as allusions just as greek myth has been used for so many centuries. I hope to live in a world where clear, reasoned, and self-correcting thinking has become the norm rather than an anomaly. I believe we can change these things by creating new media narratives for the public involving science and scientific thought processes.
